Standard Self Retracting Lifelines (SRLs) are designed for use by construction workers, utility personnel, and maintenance repair employees needing on-the-job fall protection. They are also designed for confined space applications where fall arrest/rescue & retrieval is extremely important.

When entering a confined space by ladder, fixed structure, or while being lowered mechanically by a man rated hoist, a worker must be attached to an independent lifeline for adequate fall protection.

Standard SRLs will only arrest a fall. They don’t provide retrieval capabilities. If you are looking for retrieval capabilities as well as fall arrest, the Pelsue 3-Way SRLs can be used for retrieval in the event of an emergency.
