Ventilators: Hazardous Location Pelsue Hazardous location ventilators are constructed utilizing explosion-proof electrical components. The hazardous location ventilator power supply is designed to be user-wired. This design is intended to make the end user aware that appropriate electrical fittings dictated by the location parameters must be used. A unit supplied with a particular plug may allow the unit to be connected in a manner that is not approved for hazardous locations. Such a scenario can result in a spark. An unwired unit enables the end user to properly integrate the ventilator into any of a variety of existing explosion proof wiring systems. The ventilator unit must be properly installed according to all relevant regulations in order to ensure that the electrical components retain their hazardous location certifications. Do not limit the application or endanger your safety with a pre-wired unit!
